In setting up DLLEGAL, we aimed to redesign the provision of legal advice to reflect the use of new technology. This means that we can provide excellent value for our clients.

Fixed Fees

We try wherever possible to operate on a fixed fee basis. Hourly charges do not work in most parts of the legal profession. Why should you be penalised for untrained or inefficient lawyers?

If a lawyer knows their specialist area, then they should know what is involved. They should be able to provide detailed breakdown of the steps needed and the costs involved. This means that you as the client know what it is going to cost. As your lawyers, we just do the work. Once the Fee has been agreed, we don't clock watch.

(Please note that hourly fees are charged where it is not possible to determine the likely time to be taken. For example, our drafting and advice can usually be carried out at fixed fee; however negotiations and court hearings are charged on a hourly-fee or daily-fee basis.)

Work Timetable Assurances

The efficient use of technology means that we don't overlook deadlines. Clients are provided with a timetable for work with fixed and flexible time-zones. We will only ask you to change a timetable in exceptional cases - such as discovering an unforeseen research requirement. If we miss a fixed time-zone deadline, there is an automatic right to discount on the fees. This doesn't apply to factors outside our control, such as the parts of contract negotiations where we wait for the counter-party comments.
